Acorus gramineus Ogon (Gold variegated Japanese rush) is an evergreen rush with green and gold variegation cultivar, and midway among the Japanese rushes in terms of height and vigour. May suffer from a little rust in summer or drier conditions. An excellent edging plant with tough roots which will stabilise loose banks.
