Lysimachia punctata (Golden Candles, Dotted loosestrife, yellow Loosestrife)

Lysimachia punctata (Dotted loosestrife, yellow Loosestrife) is a vigorous plant, spreading from underground stems. It makes plentiful upright stems that support whorls of yellow flowers. This tough plant will tolerate a wide range of ground conditions from wet to dry and gives good ground cover. It isn’t a true marginal plant but will tolerate very wet soil conditions provided that the foliage isn’t submerged.
